DIVINE TIMES COLLECTIVE PRESENTS
The Pan-Afro Wisdom Retreat
Imagination Reparation
A weekend in the Hudson Valley, NY
Friday, July 31st - Sunday, August 2nd
A gathering centered on Black, especially queer and trans, artists and cultural workers to rest, reconnect with imagination, and practice new ancestral worlds through a weekend of reflection, creative practice, and community by the lake.
Did you know? Public health research on "Weathering" shows that the chronic stress of systemic marginalization causes Black bodies to age faster at a cellular level, often appearing 7 to 10 years biologically older than their chronological age.
What Participants Will Experience
Community & Collaboration
Time with artists and visionaries who may become long-term collaborators and friends.
Creative & Reflective Practices
Workshops and guided activities centered on play, practical skillbuilding, and inner-child healing.
Rest & Reconnection
Space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with your inner creative world.
Thank you to WildHeart: Center for Performance and Embodiment Practice for hosting us.

Come Repair Your Imagination
"Imagination Reparation is the practice of repairing our relationship to our deepest capacities and truest desires after generations of living within oppressive systems.
Through reflection, creativity, and collective practice, we reconnect with the clarity of childhood imagination and begin not only imagining, but living the new ancestral worlds we wish to see.
--- Mae Djachechi
This retreat is intentionally small to maintain a supportive and aligned group. Participation begins with a short intake conversation.
A short call to answer questions and
see if the retreat is a good fit.
If this space isn’t for you or for your schedule this year, you can still make it possible for someone else.
“Poetry is not a luxury… it is the way we help give name to the nameless so it can be thought.”
